About me
My name is Kalle Henningsson and I am a QA tester, 3D artist and game designer from the cold reaches of Sweden. I am currently located outside Montreal, Canada where I work as a localization and functionality tester at Enzyme. My main duties are linguistic testing for a wide range of games across all platforms, including AAA-titles from some of the biggest developers in the business, but I also perform functionality testing and other duties when needed. Some of the games I've worked on include Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for PC, Assassin's Creed Revelations for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, Uncharted 3 for PS3, Dead Rising: Off The Record for Xbox 360 and PS3, SOCOM 4 for PS3 and many more.
I have a bachelor's degree from one of the top games educations in the Nordic region, the University of Gotland GAME department, where I studied game design and art for four years. During my education I learned everything from concept art to next-gen content and motion capture as well as the ability to work closely with others in a team, taking and giving art direction and working towards deadlines.
My artistic focus lies towards modelling and texturing of environment content and props but I have experience in other areas such as interface design, game design, level design and project management as well. I always try to find ways to improve myself as an artist and I am always interested in new and exciting projects.
During my third year of studies I was co-owner of the small independent game studio Swaggering Monkey.
When I'm not busy making games I like playing them. I have been playing games ever since I got my first Nintendo console about 25 years ago and I still enjoy those old, pixelated games that blew my mind when I was a kid. Apart from my passion for games I also have a big passion for music and I have been playing the drums in a number of bands throughout the years. My current band is called Ed Greene.
Oh, and I've seen David Lynch's genious TV-series Twin Peaks six or seven times from start to finish.
